Angels, Demons, and Queen Galore
Do you like David Tennant? Do you like Michael Sheen? Then I have news for you, Good Omens has both as well as a copious amount of Queen music. Good Omens is an Amazon Prime original show by Neil Gaiman which is based on the book by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. This show follows the demon Crowley (David Tennant) and the angel Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) as they try to stop Armageddon from happening. They try to hide the fact that they lost the antichrist from their respective bosses Gabriel (Jon Hamm) and Beelzebub (Shelley Conn).
The antichrist is an eleven-year-old boy who has literally no clue that he is supposed to bring the end of times. The show is a fantasy comedy show and is a solid ten flaming swords out of ten flaming swords to me. It even has a whole episode dedicated to showing how Crowley and Aziraphane know each other. Their relationship is one that is adored by fans, with Crowley being a loose living demon and Aziraphale a fussy angel. Their friendship has spanned all the way from the Garden of Eden to now. The show mostly takes place in the United Kingdom, specifically Soho. Season 2 was released this summer in July, continuing the story of Aziraphale and Crowley. Of course, it was a massive success. Oh, and Benedict Cumberbatch plays Satan if that doesn’t tell you enough.
