1 cup sugar ($0.10 per serving)
1 cup milk ($0.20 per serving)
1 cup flour ($0.10 per serving)
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder ($0.05 per serving)
1 teaspoon salt ($0.02 per serving)
2 tablespoons butter ($0.21 per serving)
1 can of fruit or 2 cups of berries mixed with ¾ cup of sugar (price varies based on fruit purchased)
Whipped cream or ice cream, if desired
How to Make It:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place butter in 13’ by 9’ baking dish and place in oven to melt.
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Then add milk.
Pour batter into dish with melted butter.
Pour fruit into batter.
Bake for 45 minutes or until there’s no soggy center.
