Chocolate Chip Banana Mug Bread
This recipe is a quick and yummy way to get your banana bread fix. Total prep time takes less than five minutes. Please use at least a 12 ounce mug to ensure the mixture does not overflow!

Ingredients: $3.03 per serving, yields one serving
1 tbsp butter, melted ($0.21 per serving)
1 tbsp milk ($0.20 per serving)
1 Egg, beaten ($0.12 per serving)
1 banana, mashed ($0.30 per serving)
½ tsp Baking powder ($0.20 per serving)
2 tbsp brown sugar, ($0.30 per serving)
¼ cup chocolate chips ($0.80 per serving)
¼ cup nuts, optional ($0.90 per serving)
Place butter in mug and melt in the microwave for 15-20 seconds.
Add milk and egg to mixture. Stir well with fork.
Add mashed banana and stir with fork.
Add flour, brown sugar, and baking powder to the mug. Mix well.
Gently stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Cook in the microwave for 1 to 2 minutes. Watch until the top of the bread rises. Cooked bread will look dry on the top.
