Dinner on a Dime: Personal Pepperoni Tortilla Pizza
Ingredients ($10 or less depending on brand and location)
Packet of Flour Tortillas ($2.50)
1 (8 ounce) jar of pizza sauce ($2)
1 package of shredded cheese ($2)
1 package of pepperoni slices ($4)
Preheat your oven to 350 F
Place a flour tortilla on a cookie sheet and spread half (or less if that is your preference) of your jar of pizza sauce evenly over the tortilla
Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the sauce and top with pepperoni slices
If you are not a fan of pepperoni, substitute your favorite toppings.
Place your cookie sheet in the oven and cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until your cheese is melty and the edges of the pizza are crusty.
Remove from the oven and serve personal pizza on a plate
The great thing about this recipe is that you can customize it any which way you desire. You can substitute corn tortillas if that is your preference, use any type of topping you like, and use as much or as little sauce as you like. It also is good for more than one personal pizza, so for night in with the friends or date night, make a personal pizza that suits your taste.
